Parade House is a residential care home in the heart of Monmouth licensed for twenty residents. We are looking to recruit a friendly, caring and flexible individual to join our existing Night Care Team.
The successful candidate will work twelve hour shifts (2000 - 0800) including weekends and public holidays. They will be contracted for either 12 or24 hours per week however, being a small team there is often an opportunity to pick up extra shifts due to Annual Leave etc.
Enhanced rates of pay for overtime (extra £1 per hour) and public holidays (double time).
You will be required to pass a DBS check before joining.
Person specification
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is required
- Ability to develop and promote positive working relationships with service users, colleagues and other stakeholders i.e. service user families.
- Excellent communication skills with basic IT literacy preferred.
- Ability to cope under pressure by prioritising workload and dealing effectively with crises/emergencies.
- No fixed shift pattern so a degree of flexibility required.
