About Us
The Autism Service is a clinician-led company providing high-quality ASD and ADHD diagnostic assessments and treatment for children, young people and adults across the UK. Our mission is to make reliable, accurate and timely assessments accessible to everyone who needs them. As an independent NHS provider, we are looking for an established Contract Supervisor to take the lead in:
- contract monitoring, performance and reporting;
- tracking and submitting proposals for formal tenders; and
- working with commissioners to obtain accreditations to supply services under the Patient Choice framework.
The Role
This role is suited to someone with high-level administration and organisation skills. Working across the contract year, and with the support of the Service Manager and Clinical Director, you will respond to diaried deadlines that consist of both new public sector opportunities and reporting for existing contracts. You will be required to use available company data and information to complete templates that demonstrate our capability, capacity and performance. Ideally, the candidate will have prior experience of NHS commissioning and the Patient Choice legislation, although training can be provided and knowledge built through the position.
Having the motivation and drive to work as part of a team to exceed contract key performance indicators, delivering outstanding results to both patients and commissioners and securing us as a leading provider in the neurodevelopmental healthcare space, is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality contractual documents and supporting evidence for tenders, frameworks and accreditations.
- Ensure all submissions comply with procurement guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Work with internal teams (clinical and operational) to gather required information for bids and contracts.
- Review contract terms, service specifications, key performance indicators and reporting templates to ensure clarity.
- Assist with responding to clarification questions during the tender or accreditation process.
- Maintain templates and documentation for future contract submissions.
- Meet diaried monthly, quarterly and bi-annual reporting deadlines and use templates to share need-to-know information.
- Contribute to developing strong stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Experience of public sector procurement and, specifically, producing contractual documents for tenders or accreditations.
- Understanding of NHS commissioning, the Standard Contract requirements and the Patient Choice legislation.
- Ability to interpret service specifications, implement requirements in daily operations and support contract governance and compliance.
- Excellent writing, editing and document management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of key performance indicators and reporting templates/frameworks.
- Experience working in healthcare services or another regulated industry.
