About us
CKR Utilities Limited is a family run business founded in 2010 by Craig Broadhurst. We have a young management team which is supported by experienced industry professionals, and the business has grown from the one two-man gang to a team of over 200 people working across the north-west.
CKR serves utility companies in the region by helping maintain their infrastructure, and in the coming years we will be expanding the business with the support of our major clients. The majority of our work is for United Utilities via Tier 1 contractors such as Network Plus and the M Group. Other clients include OCU Group and Saphire Utility Solutions. Our services include the repair and maintenance of water mains, installing water meters, repairing leaking private water mains, and backfill and reinstatement work.
Our main trading location is our unit and yard in Heywood, with another yard in Leyland and head office in Preston.
