Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team in Brent and Barnet. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals aged 18 and above, including elderly clients and young adults with additional needs.
You will be required to work in both domiciliary (door-to-door) settings and live-in care placements (ranging from 1 hour visits to 24-hour care). The ideal candidate will be flexible, culturally sensitive, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Able to Traveling within a 15-mile radius
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with medication reminders and administration (where applicable)
- Support clients with daily living activities and mobility
- Deliver companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and light household duties
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation
- Follow individual care plans and ensure dignity, privacy, and respect at all times
- Provide care for a diverse range of clients, including elderly individuals and young adults with disabilities
Skills & Requirements
- Carers only (due to client care requirements)
- Minimum 6 months of care experience
- Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (minimum)
- Valid UK driving licence (preferred/required for travel)
- Willingness to travel within Brent & Barnet (15 miles radius)
- Availability for both live-in care and domiciliary shifts
- Ability to work with individuals from all cultural backgrounds
- Experience working with elderly clients and young individuals with additional needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional approach to care
