Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional service throughout their dining experience. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, from serving food and beverages to assisting with catering events. Availability
A full shift is from 9am to 6:30pm, half shift is either 9am to 2pm or 2pm to 6:30pm. This role includes some weekdays shifts and potentially weekends shifts as well.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted
- Serve food and beverages with attention to detail and presentation
- Assist in food preparation when required, adhering to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with grace and professionalism
- Support catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable
- Skills in catering or food preparation are advantageous
- Experience as a barista is a plus, particularly in coffee preparation and service
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests
