We were included in Tatler’s 101 Best Hotels in the World. The intention is that we become one of the premier destination hotels in the country. Offering both an award-winning fine dining 2 Rosette restaurant and a contemporary Bistro, that deliver a range of culinary delights and an impressive wine selection. We are now looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our team under our fabulous Head Chef in a professional, vibrant kitchen. This role will offer an ambitious capable Sous Chef lots of opportunities for growth, responsibility and creativity. We are independently owned so flair and creativity are welcomed. We can also assist with relocation and accommodation if necessary.

Main Responsibilities
- Cooking from scratch using fresh locally sourced ingredients.
- Working closely with the other chefs and Head Chef on recipes
- Working as the Head Chefs right hand person, managing the kitchen in his absence and upholding standards from food hygiene to food consistency
- Contributing to menu ideas and creativity
- Producing high quality visually appealing food that is impeccably presented
- Collaborate closely with department heads to strategise and synchronize day-to-day operations
- Maintaining high kitchen standards and ensuring working areas are clean and tidy, and compliant with food hygiene standards.
- Training and development of junior chefs
Skills and Experience
- · Good level of Sous Chef experience within a high-quality environment
- Strong management experience and good communication skills
- · Experience of fine dining
- · A flair for creativity and passion for producing exceptional food
- · Able to produce food that has an excellent standard of presentation
- · Ambitious and keen to progress
- · Fully knowledgeable of all food hygiene legislation
