Overview
Wessex Lifts are a domestic lift manufacturer with nearly 50 years of experience in helping our customers achieve mobility in their homes and business with our lift solutions. We now have an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Field Service Engineer to join our team, helping people in person and making a real impact by servicing lifting equipment such as stairlifts, through floor lifts, hoists and platform lifts, vital to the everyday life of our users.
Your Role
- Servicing a range of lifting equipment (stairlifts, hoists, lifts)
- Based from home attending sites within your region you will have a salaried position, will be paid “door to door” with overtime opportunities
- Carry out a daily program of service and repair visits
- Attend emergency call outs on a rota basis
- Participate in an out of hours standby rota attending emergency call outs
- Regularly submit related paperwork to Head Office
Our Ideal Candidate
- Preferably from the mobility lift industry, with at least 4 years relevant experience and a minimum qualification of NVQ2 in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Fault finding experience
- Full driving licence
- Excellent communications skills
- Enhanced DBS checks will be carried out prior to joining (reimbursed)
