Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members
- Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate food production activities to meet service times and customer expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing as required
- Serve dishes to customers when necessary, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures
- Experience in food production and managing kitchen operations
- Knowledge of restaurant service standards and customer service excellence
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
