Wealth Adviser Development and Performance Director
Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Salary: £60k - £80k Basic (DOE)
OTE - £100,000 - £150,000

You will lead from the front - recruiting top talent, driving performance, developing business opportunities, and helping to define the strategic direction of the firm. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Identify, attract and recruit high-calibre financial advisers.
- Design and implement a structured onboarding process to ensure seamless integration and strong early-stage performance.
Performance Management
- Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for advisers.
- Monitor, review, and coach to performance, providing constructive feedback and development support.
Leadership & Coaching
- Act as a mentor and leader, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Lead by example, modelling best practice and encouraging continuous professional development.
Business Development & Growth
- Define and implement the business development strategy for the adviser team.
- Support advisers with their own business development activity through guidance, training, and resource provision.
- Develop and initiate new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Senior Leadership Contribution
- Play an active role in shaping the firm’s strategy and future direction.
- Represent the business at key events, within professional networks, and across the wider industry.
- Strong decision making and sound judgement by using relevant information to make balanced decisions whilst taking ownership of the outcomes, reflecting on results to inform future decisions and actions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (preferred but not essential).
- Extensive experience in sales leadership within financial services or wealth management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
