Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen
- Create and develop new menu items, taking into consideration customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to high-quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop and implement cost-effective strategies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
