Complex Care Worker – Portsmouth Area
Pay: up to £16.00 per hour
Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time, part-time and permanent positions available
We are recruiting experienced, dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Workers to join our specialist care team supporting individuals with complex health and social care needs in the Portsmouth area.
This is a rewarding role for care workers who are confident, reliable and committed to delivering safe, person-centred care. You will be supporting clients in their own homes and in the community, helping them to maintain their dignity, independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Clinical care may include:
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG feeding and medication support
- Continence care
- Bowel management
- Moving and handling
- Personal care
- Seizure support
- Respiratory support, where required
- Monitoring and recording health and wellbeing
- Supporting clients with social activities, routines and meaningful engagement
Full clinical training and competency assessments will be provided by our nurse-led team to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role.
We are looking for people who:
- Have previous experience in care, ideally within complex care
- Are compassionate, patient and respectful
- Can follow care plans, risk assessments and clinical guidance
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Are reliable and flexible with shift patterns
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide suitable references.
