Role Overview: As a Sales Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your friendly demeanour, product knowledge, and commitment to excellent service will contribute to our store’s success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers, helping them find the perfect outdoor gear for their needs.
- Product Knowledge: Learn about our range of products, including clothing, footwear, and accessories, to provide accurate information to customers.
- Sales Support: Work closely with the Store Manager to set up displays, maintain stock levels, and ensure the store is well-organised.
- Cash Handling: Operate the till, process transactions, and handle cash securely.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean and tidy, including restocking shelves and organising merchandise.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Product Interest: Enthusiasm for outdoor activities and a willingness to learn about outdoor gear.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and occasional midweek shifts.
