CNC Operator – Ruby Granite Ltd
Ruby Granite Ltd is seeking a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented CNC Operator to join our expanding production team. This role is ideal for an individual who takes pride in precision, maintains high safety standards, and is eager to develop new technical skills. Full training will be provided.
Role Responsibilities
As a CNC Operator, you will be trained to carry out the following duties:
- Machine Setup & Programming — Assist with preparing and configuring CNC machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Material Loading — Load raw materials into machines in accordance with production requirements.
- Operational Standards — Perform all tasks following company procedures and quality expectations.
- Machine Inspection — Conduct routine checks to identify mechanical or safety issues.
- Stock Management — Ensure machines remain stocked to minimise downtime and maintain workflow continuity.
- Quality Control — Inspect finished components to confirm they meet required specifications before moving to the next production stage.
- Continuous Learning — Stay up to date with machinery features, safety practices, and relevant training courses.
- Workplace Safety — Promote safe working behaviours and support colleagues in maintaining a hazard‑free environment.
- Flexible Scheduling — Adapt working hours during peak production periods.
- Team Collaboration — Work cooperatively with colleagues to support smooth production operations.

- Experience with CAD software
- Experience in the kitchen/worktop industry
