Children's Healthcare Assistant (Complex Care – Nights)

About the Role
Coyle Homecare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support a 5-year-old girl with complex medical needs in her family home.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to provide one-to-one care, supporting a young child with a genetic epilepsy syndrome, global developmental delay, and additional clinical needs. You will play a key role in ensuring her safety, comfort, and wellbeing overnight.
Shift Pattern
- Night shifts: 10:00pm – 6:00am
Key Responsibilities
- Providing continuous overnight monitoring and support
- Managing and responding to seizures appropriately
- Supporting ventilation care
- Managing NJ/NG feeding tubes
- Observing and recording vital signs and overall wellbeing
- Supporting with repositioning and comfort during the night
- Escalating any clinical concerns promptly
- Working in partnership with the family and wider healthcare team
Clinical Requirements (Desirable)
- Experience with epilepsy and seizure management
- Ventilation support experience
- NJ/NG tube feeding
- Experience supporting children with complex needs
- Awareness of cardiac conditions
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
