Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing young children's learning and development in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for children, ensuring their well-being at all times.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support individual learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of care and education is delivered consistently.
- Support children in developing their social skills through play and group activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills to guide junior staff effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations if necessary.
