Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy dining establishment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to new staff members.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in food production, including preparing ingredients and supporting culinary operations as needed.
- Monitor customer service standards, address guest concerns promptly, and enhance overall dining experience.
- Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory efficiently.
- Enforce health and safety policies, including proper handling of food and equipment.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality services, including serving guests when required.
- Collaborate with management to develop promotional initiatives and optimise operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Experience in team management and leadership roles within restaurant settings.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, food production processes, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable; barista experience is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service excellence.
