Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicle safely and professionally
- Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and on time
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure compliance with all road transport regulations
- Maintain accurate records in line with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers, transport planners, and the operations team
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail
