Nursery Practitioner - Full Time 37.5 Hours per week All Year Round
Are you a passionate Early Years Practitioner who takes pride in giving children the very best start in life?
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our well-established nursery in King’s Lynn. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, all year round.
We are ideally looking for a Level 3 qualified practitioner. However, we will also consider a strong and motivated Level 2 practitioner who is committed to progressing to Level 3 — support and development will be provided for the right candidate.
About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality early years education and care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to children’s individual needs
- Acting as a key person, building strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Observing, assessing and recording children’s development in line with the EYFS
- Supporting children’s daily routines, including meals, sleep and care needs
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, safety and professionalism
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and committed team

What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)
- Level 2 Early Years qualification (considered if willing to progress)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a nursery or childcare setting
- Experience working as a key person (desirable)
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach
- A genuine passion for working with children from birth to school age
Own transport is beneficial due to location.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours per week
- Shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm
- Closed on Bank Holidays and over Christmas
