As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced technician to join our professional Bosch Car Service workshop. This is an opportunity to work in a modern, fully equipped environment where your expertise is recognised, valued and rewarded.
The Role
You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, from traditional petrol and diesel models through to the latest hybrid and electric vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
- Hybrid and electric vehicle diagnostics, servicing and repairs.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical and electronic systems.
- Cambelt and timing belt replacements.
- Clutch replacements and major mechanical repairs.
- Engine repairs and complex fault rectification.
- MOT repairs and vehicle preparation.
- Welding and fabrication work when required.
- Vehicle servicing and maintenance to Bosch and manufacturer standards.
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior technicians.
- Maintaining high workshop standards and quality workmanship.
What We're Looking For
✔ Proven experience as a Master Technician, Senior Technician or EV Technician.
✔ Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
✔ Experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles.
✔ Confident carrying out cambelt, timing belt and clutch replacements.
✔ Experience with MOT repairs and general vehicle maintenance.
✔ Welding and fabrication experience.
✔ NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
✔ Full UK Driving Licence.
✔ Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
- IMI Level 3 or Level 4 Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Qualification.
- Bosch Diagnostic Technician Certification.
- MOT Tester Licence.
- Experience training or mentoring apprentices.
