Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff Members to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a keen interest in the hospitality industry. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons while ensuring that all drinks are prepared to the highest standards. We have a large events space with up to 500 customers and a high demand for quick service while still maintaining simple hospitality skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, having a large smile whilst doing so and engaging with the customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations as well as licensing laws to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is required as this is a fast paced environment where you will be required to handle quick service.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A good understanding of drink preparation techniques is advantageous but training will be provided for the right candidates.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
