The Maintenance Operative is a key member of our team, they will work independently or as part of a team to keep the grounds of our Holiday Parks to an immaculate standard and ensure any maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. The role is 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General Maintenance duties on the Parks on a weekly rota basis.
- Carry out groundskeeping duties such as grass cutting, strimming & weeding.
- Completing remedial works on the Parks to keep high standards.
- Scheduling larger remedial works with other team members and overseeing these tasks to completion as and when required.
- Help with siting of new homes from when they arrive to Customer handover and dealing with aftersales.
- Ad hoc duties as and when required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of grounds maintenance such as mowing, hedge trimming etc.
- Experience with groundworks and laying of slabs, blocks a benefit.
- Experience with the maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Experience with basic repairs.
- Experience with basic plumbing.
- A knowledge of Health & Safety and Safe Working Practices advantageous
- Plumbing background advantageous
