Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast / Lunch Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with meal planning and ingredient sourcing as required
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or supplies needed
- Serve meals to customers efficiently, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles, ideally within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in serving or front-of-house duties is advantageous but not essential
- Flexibility to work during breakfast and lunch hours, including weekends if required
- A passion for delivering high-quality meals and excellent customer service
