We are seeking a motivated and professional Senior Civil Enforcement Officer to join our team.
In this role, you will assist with the supervision of the Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs), ensuring that all enforcement activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant Code of Practice, council policies and statutory requirements. You will support the day-to-day management of the team, helping to maintain high standards of performance, conduct and customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the supervision and support of Civil Enforcement Officers
- Ensuring the Civil Enforcement Officers comply with the relevant Code Of Practice, procedures and operational standards
- Support the management of health and safety within the workplace
- Undertaking and monitoring risk assessments and promoting safe working practices
- Assisting with training, mentoring and performance monitoring of staff as required
- Contributing to the efficient delivery of parking enforcement services.
Essential requirements:
- Experience in parking enforcement or a relating enforcement environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of health and safety responsibilities in the workplace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full, valid UK driving licence as travel throughout the County is necessary.
Development requirement:
- The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a commitment to achieving NVQ Level 2 in Parking Enforcement and the relevant professional certification within three years of commencing employment, if not already held.
- This is an excellent opportunity, for an experienced enforcement professional looking to develop their supervisory skills and progress their career within parking services.
Includes weekend work on a rota basis with enhanced pay.
