We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialised coffee drinks, teas, and smoothies
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly assistance and recommendations where appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times
- Assist in opening and closing duties as required, including cleaning and organising the workspace
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience with food preparation and serving techniques
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and order processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
