Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our expanding family run business.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations both residential and commercial while ensuring timely and safe deliveries In and around the TR postcodes. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities. Previous experience in delivery driving or commercial driving is essentail.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs for the delivery vehicle promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, with a strong understanding of safe driving practices.
- A valid driver's licence, preferably with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is essential .
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
