Must have experience of managing a Warehouse Operation including orders, deliveries and suppliers including stock system
Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations within our dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of administrative processes. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and success of our organisation by managing various administrative functions, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth office operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining organisational standards, supporting production activities, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organisation.
- Liaise with both sales, production and design teams.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers to maintain supplies.
- Implement organisational policies and procedures to optimise workflow.
- Handle correspondence via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and other HR-related documentation.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles and office management.
- Experience with Sage AND Xero (Advantageous not essential)
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with good phone etiquette.
- Demonstrated clerical and administrative experience within an office setting.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving skills coupled with a professional demeanour. This position is integral to maintaining a well-organised office environment that supports our organisational goals.
