Due to increased demand, we are looking for an Early years practitioner to join our growing team.
The hours of work are between 8-45am - 3.30pm, term time in our 18 month -5 year nursery. This would be 16 to 32 hour a week.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating a nurturing, stimulating environment that supports secure attachments
- Planning and delivering routines and activities based on the EYFS
- Providing responsive care that supports each child's emotional and physical needs
- Building strong partnerships with families
- Completing observations, assessments and progress tracking
- Supporting children with additional needs and working with external professionals when required
- Ensuring a safe, clean and calm space for children to learn and grow
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 2/3 childcare qualification (essential) or above
- Excellent understanding of the EYFS, child development and safeguarding
- Strong communication skills and a kind, reflective approach to leadership
