Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, SEND Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, EHCP Support Assistant or Autism Support Worker looking for your next opportunity within a supportive primary school environment?
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in North West London that is looking to appoint an EHCP Support Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2 with a range of additional needs.
The school has a strong commitment to inclusion and personalised support, ensuring pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) receive the guidance, encouragement and interventions they need to succeed academically, socially and emotionally.
About the Role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with EHCPs
- Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, communication needs and other SEND
- Deliver targeted interventions and personalised learning support
- Support emotional regulation, engagement and independence
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and families
- Monitor and contribute towards EHCP outcomes and progress
About You
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Understanding of EHCPs and personalised support strategies
- Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, SEND Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Behaviour Support Assistant or similar
- Patient, organised and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passionate about inclusive education
