We are currently recruiting professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. We are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards of customer care.

The Role
Based at our Appleton site, this general haulage position involves operating a modern Scania, fitted with comfortable leather seats, built in fridge and a 2000 watt inverter while working independently. The role offers guaranteed 50 working hours per week, providing consistent and reliable employment.
Key Accountabilities
- Planning and completing deliveries efficiently
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance
- Delivering excellent service to customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards while operating the vehicle.
- Supporting safe and smooth transport operations
Pay & Hours
- Guaranteed 50 hours each week
Hourly Rates:
- Mon–Fri Days: £14.50 (including meal allowance)
- Mon–Fri Nights: £15.70 (including meal allowance)
- Weekend and Bank Holidays: £18.20 (including meal allowance)
What We’re Looking For
- Valid CPC & Tacho Card.
- Minimum of 6 months DCPC remaining.
- Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with Curtainsider experience.
- Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
- Solid understanding of UK road regulations and traffic laws.
- Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maximum of 6 points on licence.
