Overview
As a Warehouse Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the warehouse management team through the company’s ERP system, managing core administrative tasks using Microsoft Office, and assisting with daily warehouse activities. Success in this role requires strong organisational and administrative abilities, excellent attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the flexibility to support the wider business when needed.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Serve as a key liaison between the warehouse, purchasing, and customer service teams to maintain clear communication and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with carriers when required to arrange or resolve UK shipping matters.
- Produce, maintain, and issue formal warehouse processes in line with business procedures to improve workflow, safety, and efficiency.
- Use the business system, SAP B1, to support stock control, production orders, and sales order processing.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring physical and system stock remain aligned.
- Coordinate, schedule, and support PI (Physical Inventory) Counts.
- Manage goods‑in documentation to support accurate receipt and processing of inbound materials.
- Process and record stock movements between warehouses and internal locations.
- Complete customer online portal bookings in line with individual customer requirements.
- Prepare and manage Amazon and other customer‑specific documentation as required.
- Collate and provide export information where applicable.
- Support sales order processing to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.
- Print operational documents and labels to support warehouse workflows.
Key Competencies & Requirements
- Prior warehouse administration experience is desirable
- Experience with SAP B1 or a similar ERP system is an advantage
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
