Housekeeper / Household Assistant – Private Country Estate (Part-Time)
Location: Antrobus, Cheshire
We are looking for a trustworthy, proactive and highly organised Housekeeper to join our family on a beautiful private country estate in Antrobus.
This is far more than a cleaning role. We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in running a home to an exceptional standard, enjoys being organised and notices the little details without needing to be asked.
Duties include:
- Maintaining the home to a consistently high standard
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing beds and caring for linens
- Organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage
- Keeping kitchens, bathrooms and living areas immaculate
- Helping prepare the house for guests and family events
- Seasonal tasks such as Christmas decorating and general household organisation
- Managing household supplies and shopping lists
- Liaising with contractors and tradespeople when required
- Occasional errands
About You
You will:
- Be organised, reliable and self-motivated
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Be discreet and respectful of our family’s privacy
- Enjoy taking ownership of your work and using your initiative
- Be comfortable working in a large family home
- Be confident around children and friendly with animals, including dogs
- Hold a full UK driving licence
Hours
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, approximately 9:00am–3:00pm (18 hours per week). There may be opportunities for additional hours in the future.
Pay
Starting from £15–£18 per hour, depending on experience and whether the role is employed or self-employed. We are happy to consider both employed and self-employed applicants, with pay adjusted accordingly.
