Estimator – Interior Fit-Out & Refurbishment
Lisburn | Full-Time | Occasional Travel to London
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a growing commercial team within a specialist interior and refurbishment contractor delivering high-end luxury projects across the UK and Ireland.
This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial awareness and fit-out estimating experience who enjoys working on prestigious hospitality, residential, retail, and commercial projects within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As Estimator, you will play a key role within the commercial team, supporting the preparation, coordination, and submission of competitive tenders across a variety of luxury fit-out and refurbishment projects.
You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal operational teams to ensure accurate pricing, commercial compliance, and successful project handovers.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate incoming tender documentation and drawings
- Compile accurate and commercially compliant cost estimates
- Obtain and analyse quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
- Review contractual and supplementary tender information for commercial impact
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical and pricing matters
- Carry out site visits to assess project and pricing requirements
- Participate in mid-tender and post-tender meetings with clients and design teams
- Follow up submitted tenders and manage post-tender query processes
- Provide detailed internal handover information to operational teams on successful tenders
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within an Estimating role
- Main Contractor fit-out experience preferred
- Knowledge of estimating software systems (Evaluate preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong IT skills with a proactive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively
