Job Description:
As a result of our continuing growth we require an additional Field Engineer to join our team.
Based mostly in the field your role will involve faultfinding and repair of Industrial Equipment and Machinery in a number of our customers' premises throughout Scotland.
Ideally you will have a proven track record of a field based role, good geographical knowledge and a full clean driving license.
This role requires the applicant to be proficient in the following:
Essential
- Industrial electrical fault finding on machinery and control systems
- Be able to understand drawings and schematics
- Install and test new parts on machinery
- PLC Programming and Fault Finding
- Experience in electrical installations including control panels
- Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
- Good organisational and planning skills to ensure that tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner
Desirable
- Experience on different protocols like Ethernet, Profibus etc
- Knowledge and use of electrical design packages
- Certified in 18th Edition
