Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team on weekends at The Walhampton Arms just outside Lymington. This role is vital in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring our guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food and meal preparation to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Support chefs with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking tasks.
- Restock supplies and ensure kitchen equipment is functioning properly.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively.
- Help serve food when necessary to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential.
