Role description:
We are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our UK Climate Adaptation team, managing a portfolio of projects across water, civil engineering and environment. As part of our Programme and Project Management team, you’ll oversee delivery from mobilisation through to close-out; managing scope, programme, cost, risk and quality to achieve measurable client outcomes. With your energy, agility and a keen eye for detail, you’ll coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver transformational results for multiple clients every day.
Our team delivers flood defence and adaptation schemes and supports clients to protect and enhance environmental outcomes across England. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll manage Water, Civil Engineering and Environment projects with a strong focus on NEC4 contracts, providing contractual advice and leading contract administration through the appraisal phase. You’ll work closely with clients, contractors, consultants and third parties to maintain robust governance and ensure safe, compliant delivery.

Project manage a range of civil engineering, water and environment projects using the NEC4 Professional Service Contract (PSC) and/or the Engineering and Construction Short Contract (ESCS) including contract administration in accordance with the role of the Service/Project Manager on several NEC contracts.
Work collaboratively with all stakeholders; clients, contractors, consultants and third-party stakeholders on each project to ensure delivery is on time, within budget and to a high quality and in accordance with the NEC contract you will be administering.
Monitor progress of work, identify risks in the delivery of priorities and implement timely resolution of issues, to ensure appropriate reallocation of time, finance and effort and enhancement of the service.
Provide good quality management reporting on service delivery, to support the planning of operational work, inform business decisions and provide a sound basis from which to communication with and influence internal / external partners.
