Cura Vita Complex Care Group is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to work alongside our Chief Nursing Officer, providing clinical leadership across our community, supported living and complex care services.
This is a newly created, field based role supporting all Cura Vita packages of care across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, North London and surrounding operational areas. Regular travel between services is an essential part of the role.

The Role
As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will provide expert clinical leadership and oversight across Cura Vita's services, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered at all times.
You will work closely with operational teams, commissioners, families and multidisciplinary professionals to promote clinical excellence, strengthen governance and continuously improve outcomes for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership across Cura Vita's community, supported living and complex care services.
- Travel across services to support clinical oversight, quality assurance and service development.
- Complete comprehensive clinical assessments for new and existing packages of care.
- Support the mobilisation of new care packages and transitions.
- Develop and review person-centred care plans, clinical documentation and risk assessments.
- Promote best practice in Learning Disabilities, Autism, Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred care.
- Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to operational teams.
- Lead clinical governance activities, including audits, investigations, incident reviews and quality improvement.
- Support medication governance and delegated healthcare competencies.
- Deliver clinical training, competency assessments and clinical supervision.
- Work collaboratively with families, commissioners and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Participate in the Clinical On-Call rota.
About You
You will be a Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) with current unrestricted NMC registration and experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex health needs.
You'll be confident working independently across multiple services, enjoy supporting and developing others, and be passionate about improving clinical quality and outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD).
- Current unrestricted NMC registration.
- Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
- Experience within community, supported living or complex care services.
- Experience undertaking clinical assessments, care planning and risk management.
- Knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding and quality assurance.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel across Cura Vita's operational regions.
- Flexibility to attend services, Head Office and external meetings as required.
- Ability to participate in the Clinical On-Call rota.
