What Your Responsibilities May Include
- Keeping all Back of House areas clean and tidy
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality dishes within your section
- Ensuring the health and safety procedures are carried out correctly
- Completing all necessary daily due diligence and recording correctly
- Monitoring portion and waste control, always working to specification
- Making sure that cleaning standards are always upheld
- Following health and safety protocol
Additional Responsibilities May Include
- Attending training days
- Assisting managers with stock taking
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential
- Good communications skills
- Experience of working in a similar industry such as food service, catering or hospitality
- Previous food handling experience
- Ability to adhere to all health & safety practices
- High levels of personal hygiene and appearance
- Minimum 1 years relevant experience
- Awareness of manual handling techniques
- Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
