Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive management experience, and excellent communication abilities. Duties
- Lead and manage all organisational departments to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.
- Supervise and motivate management teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales, optimise merchandising, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Oversee retail management activities, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and sales strategies.
- Manage administrative functions such as budgeting, reporting, and organisational planning with a focus on efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with staff at all levels through professional phone etiquette and organisational skills.
- Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and training opportunities to enhance team management capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Organise schedules to optimise time management across departments while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Represent the organisation at external events or meetings as required.
Requirements
- Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising teams within retail or sales environments.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks and merchandising activities.
- Experience in retail management, sales management, or similar roles is preferred.
- Proficient in time management to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Previous experience in supervising staff, managing budgets, and implementing strategic initiatives is essential.
- Exceptional phone etiquette coupled with organisational prowess to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
