Salary and rates of pay depend on experience and qualifications within the sector:
- Unqualified Nursery Assistant: Up to £13.50 per hour (up to £28,080 per annum)
- Level 2 Nursery Nurse/Practitioner: Up to £14.50 per hour (up to £30,160 per annum)
- Level 3 and above Nursery Nurse/Practitioner: Up to £20.00 per hour (up to £41,600 per annum)

Role Overview
- Daily Activities: Assist in organising daily activities that stimulate children’s development.
- Policies and Procedures: Stay up to date with nursery policies and procedures.
- Childcare Support: Help with bottle feeding, mealtimes, and sleep routines.
- Supervision: Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Stimulating Environment: Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that encourages learning through play.
Requirements of the Role
- An Enhanced DBS (with Children’s Barred List check) is required for this role.
