We are looking for individuals who can provide empathetic and person-centred care to join our brand-new Short Stay Service, Camellia Court in Flitwick, Bedfordshire.
The scheme is part of our brand-new care village, Red Kite Meadows, and is due to open in March 2026. As such we are now hiring our brand-new team of care staff with time to train them, familiarise them with the building and get to know them before we launch.
Camellia Court is a Short Stay Service this service consists of 8 bedrooms, at Camellia Court we are committed to supporting individuals with both physical and learning difficulties. Care is Central are the on-site care team, providing care and support to a range of people living in the scheme. This role is focused on maintaining people's independence and promoting dignity, choice, and empowerment at all points of care delivery.
You will be joining a supportive team, led by hands-on management who will provide you with a comprehensive training programme.

We are looking for full time, part time and bank Support Workers to join us.
Main Duties of a Support Worker
· To maintain positive working relationships with those in our care and to ensure their needs, wishes and preferences are met and adhered to at all times during care delivery.
· To assist individuals with a range of activities of daily living including bathing, showering, intimate personal care, oral care, moving and handling, hoisting, transferring, uses mobility aids and equipment, the preparation of food and drinks, administration of medication, management of medication including the stock management, re-ordering and collection of medication, domestic tasks around the home and other duties as required.
· To provide care and support in a way that promotes independence, choice and control and maximises positive outcomes for individuals.
· To be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of those we support and be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstance
· To ensure individuals are supported in managing their physical and emotional wellbeing and meeting their health care needs.
· To ensure that clients receive prompt medical attention for physical or mental health concerns and regularly promote regular health care checks and effective management of long-term health conditions.
· To follow individual care plans, ensuring that all needs are met according to established guidelines and to regularly feedback to the Team Leader when updates are required.
· Being resilient, attentive, and ensuring our service users are treated with the dignity and care they deserve
· Maintain a clean, safe and homely environment for our residents, ensuring that all equipment is used properly and safely
Requirements:
As a values-based employer, we do not need you to have previous experience in a professional caring role, though it would be beneficial, as would any personal experience you may have provided care for others.
What is important to us is that you share our values, have a passion for helping others, can work positively within a team (even when things aren't easy!) and bring joy and laughter to the role, both with those we support and those we work with.
We do also need you to:
Be eligible to work in the UK (Please note we do not offer Sponsorship)
Have strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
A caring nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Undertake an Enhanced DBS check (Paid for by us)
