We are looking for a hands-on, accountable Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operations and drive standards across stock control, efficiency, and organisation.
This is not a passive role. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, spots problems early, and improves how things are done. Over time, the right person will take on purchasing and supplier coordination, becoming a key part of the wider operation.
The Role
You will manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high standards at all times. You’ll be expected to lead from the front, not from a desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for daily warehouse operations (goods in/out, picking, packing, dispatch)
- Maintain accurate stock control and proactively resolve discrepancies
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to processes and workflow
- Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, every time
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Work closely with the wider team to keep operations running smoothly
- Progress into supporting purchasing, supplier management, and stock planning
Requirements (Please only apply if you meet these)
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role
- Strong track record of reliability, accuracy, and meeting deadlines
- Confident managing stock and solving problems independently
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise without constant supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Full driving licence (B + E preferred)
- Physically capable of manual handling
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who takes ownership rather than waits for instruction
- A forward thinker who looks for ways to improve, not just maintain
- High standards – you notice when things aren’t right and fix them
- A practical, no-nonsense approach with a strong work ethic
What We Offer
- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Company pension
- On-site parking
- A small, supportive team where your impact is visible
If this sounds like the role for you, we look forward to receiving your application.
