About Us:
Leicester Volvo is a trusted name in automotive excellence, known for delivering outstanding customer service and high-quality vehicles. We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Valeter & Team Leader to join our team and lead our valeting operations.
The Role:
As Valeter & Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are cleaned and presented to the highest standards, while also managing a small team of valeters. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership with operational duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the valeting team
- Ensure all vehicles are cleaned, polished, and presented to showroom standards
- Manage workflow and allocate tasks efficiently
- Conduct quality checks and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Liaise with sales, service and rental departments to coordinate vehicle preparation
- Train and mentor new team members
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting (essential)
- Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- A proactive, can-do attitude and team spirit
