A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join its growing team delivering major renewable energy infrastructure projects across Fife.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of high-profile energy projects, working alongside experienced project teams in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Project Manager and Site Agent in the successful delivery of renewable energy and civil engineering works.
- Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and plant resources.
- Monitoring progress against programme and assisting with short-term planning.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
- Managing quality assurance processes and maintaining accurate site records.
- Assisting with commercial awareness, cost control, and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Sub Agent, Site Agent, or Senior Engineer role within the civil engineering sector.
- Experience delivering infrastructure, earthworks, roads, drainage, or renewable energy projects.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site management procedures.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
- SMSTS qualification would be advantageous.
