Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise guest flow.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area.
- Assist in coordinating with waitstaff to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Address guest concerns promptly and efficiently, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of guest services.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and staff alike.
- Experience in guest services or serving roles will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with hotel operations can be beneficial but is not required.
