Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a leading, award-winning retailer.
This role involves double-manned home deliveries, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and with a high standard of customer service. Safety is a top priority, and all deliveries are completed as part of a two-person team.
Immediate temp-to-perm opportunities are available from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out home deliveries as part of a double-manned team
- Safely unload and deliver goods to customers
- Handle all items with care to prevent damage
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Pay and Benefits
- £18.25 per hour
- Guaranteed minimum 48 hours per week (£876 before tax and NI)

Bonus Scheme
- £1,300 quarterly performance bonus
- Equivalent to approximately £100 extra per week
- Paid in addition to your regular earnings
Guaranteed Pay
- Minimum 48 hours paid per week
- Paid for all hours worked over 48
- If fewer hours are worked (e.g. 40), you will still receive 48 hours pay
Working Hours
- Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
- Monday to Friday
- No weekend work
Requirements
- Valid LGV Class C (Class 2) licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points (insurance purposes)
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
