Summary
We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant Level 2B to work with our 23-year-old children. This is an exciting opportunity to join our outstanding maintained nursery school and play a key role in providing high-quality early education and care during this important stage of children's development.
Working alongside the class teacher and nursery team, you will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning through play. You will support children's learning, personal, social and emotional development, communication and language, and physical development, responding sensitively to their individual needs and interests.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with children aged 23 years in an early years setting.
- Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development.
- Can support children's learning through play, exploration and positive interactions.
- Is warm, patient and responsive, building secure relationships with young children.
- Has excellent communication skills and works effectively with parents, carers and colleagues.
- Is committed to providing an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Is organised, reliable and able to work as part of a collaborative team.
- Holds a relevant Level 2 qualification (or meets the essential qualification requirements for the post).

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
