Children’s Residential Home – Stafford (DRIVERS LICENCE IS A REQUIREMENT)
Location: Stafford ST18
Pay: Support worker- £26,000 plus £62.75 persleep in (additional £6012.21 based on 8 sleep ins)
Senior - £29,500 plus £62.75 per sleep in (relevant qualification needed)
Hours: 2–3 shifts per week (including long shifts and sleep-ins)
Contract: Permanent
Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required

My client is looking for dedicated, compassionate and resilient Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our friendly team in Stafford. You’ll be supporting children aged 10–16 who have experienced neglect, abuse, and trauma, helping them to feel safe, valued and supported as they work towards a brighter future.
What you’ll do:
- Provide day-to-day care, emotional support and guidance to young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and stable home environment where children can grow and thrive.
- Support children with daily routines, education, hobbies and activities.
- Promote independence, confidence and positive relationships.
- Work as part of a caring, experienced team to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with vulnerable children or young people with challenging behaviours and emotional needs.
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
- Flexibility to work long shifts, weekends and sleep-ins as part of a rota.
- A caring, patient and resilient attitude with excellent communication skills.
