We are looking for someone with experience to work and train alongside our chefs in all daily duties: assisting in food preparation and ensuring kitchen is cleaned to the highest level. To support the Head Chef to ensure consistently high-quality food is produced. To also deal with stock control and purchasing.
Responsibilities
- Day to day food preparation and duties assigned by the Head Chef to meet the pub's standards whilst following procedures for safety and hygiene.
- Work with the Head Chef to streamline the daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure great food receiving, handling, storage, and preservation with all essential aspects observed.
- To follow recipies, production, and presentation methods to ensure consistent high-quality food is produced.
- Maintain and operate essential kitchen equipment to esure the kitchen continues running smoothly.
- Motivate junior chefs to work under deadlines.
