Overview
One Place Solutions are looking for Warehouse Operatives with a full UK Driving licence for their client based in Bedford
This role is split between warehouse operative duties and some driving work in company vans where required to support with deliveries.
Working Hours: 6am-3pm or 8am-5pm but flexibility is required.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading goods within the warehouse, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Drive company vehicles for deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements
- Follow all health and safety protocols during warehouse activities and driving operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area to promote a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable
- Valid UK driver’s licence suitable for operating company vehicles
- Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
