We are seeking an experienced Senior Business & Procurement Consultant to lead client engagements across business support programmes, procurement consultancy projects, grant funding initiatives, supplier development programmes, and public sector advisory assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead consultancy projects for public and private sector clients.
- Deliver business diagnostics, growth planning, and strategic reviews.
- Provide procurement and supplier-readiness consultancy.
- Support organisations with framework and DPS applications.
- Design and deliver training workshops, mentoring programmes, and webinars.
- Conduct stakeholder engagement and consultation exercises.
- Develop business cases, funding applications, and grant strategies.
- Produce policy documents, governance frameworks, and compliance reviews.
- Support tender and bid submissions for public sector contracts.
- Manage client relationships and project delivery teams.
- Produce reports, recommendations, and improvement plans.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Procurement, Economics, Policy, or related discipline.
- Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Level 5 or above.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP Practitioner, or equivalent project management qualification.
- Minimum 7 years' consultancy or advisory experience.
- Demonstrable experience delivering public-sector consultancy projects.
- Experience designing and delivering training and mentoring programmes.
- Strong understanding of UK procurement legislation and public-sector commissioning.
Desirable Qualifications
- CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma.
- MBA or Master's Degree.
- APM PMQ.
- ILM Level 7 Leadership & Management.
- Social Value Practitioner qualification.
- Bid and Proposal Management certification (APMP Foundation or Practitioner).

Pay: £41,420.00-£73,805.48 per year
Work Location: In person
